Sunnuntait on mulle tätä nykyä näköjään blogipäiviä. Sunnuntaista on myös viime aikoina tullut mulle lempparipäivä. Ennen vietin aina sunnuntait hirveän masennuksen vallassa, kun tiesin, että seuraavana päivänä pitää taas kouluun/töihin. Nyt olen kokenut jonkinlaisen valaistuksen ja huomannut, että sunnuntainahan saa vielä nauttia joutenolosta! Yli puolet päivästä on vietetty sängyn pohjalla iso hymy naamalla ja toinen puolikas on mennyt leppoisasti sohvalla karkkipussin kera. Lauantait taas menevät aina hirveässä viikonloppu-euforiassa, pitää tehdä kaikki mitä ei viikolla ehdi, eilen siis pomppasin pystyyn seitsemältä, kävin juoksulenkillä, siivosin, pesin pyykkiä ja leivoin. Illan vietin ihastuttavan työkaverini seurassa, tehtiin maailman ällöimpiä cocktaileja, käytiin läpi kaikki Den Haagin baarit ja arvosteltiin ihmisten pukeutumista, parasta viihdettä!
Just realizing what a nice day Sunday actually is. I think Sundays are way underrated, people tend to be anxious about the weekend ending, and a new week starting. I used to think like this too, until I noticed how awesome it is to just lay on the couch and do nothing for a whole day. Today I've spent more than half of the day in bed and the rest of the day on the couch with a big bag of candy. Saturdays, on the other hand, are always spent being a bit too excited about the weekend, yesterday I was so happy about it that I got up at seven, went jogging with Seppo, cleaned the house, did some laundry and cooked. Umm... And then I spent my evening with one of my lovely colleagues, we made the worst tasting cocktails ever, saw quite a few of the bars in The Hague and judged people based on what they were wearing, so entertaining!
